Crown Jewel Rocker, new theater seating...
Height: 40" (the most popular sold to movie cinemas).
Width: 22”
Depth of the chair:
22”.84 (with the seats bottom cushion in the up position, also know as "seat up envelope").
31.10 (with the seats bottom cushion in the down position, also know as "seat down envelope").
Chair rocks back: About 6 inches. (Depending on size and weight of person sitting in the chair).
The rocking mechanism is adjustable. There is a screw, located in the most forward position going through the rubber spring mechanism. Tightening this screw will reduce the amount of rocking motion the chair has. The screw is set into the ´loosest’ position from the factory. In other words if you want the maximum amount of range-of-motion of the rocking you do not need to touch or mess with the adjustment screw at all. Just leave it alone.
Back-to-back spacing: Recommend min. of 42 inches. Additional space such as 44”or 52” etc. allows for more legroom, more comfort, and more egress room.
The chairs come partially assembled. Some assembly is required. The backs are already put together. The seat bottoms with their cushion and bucket are already put together.
The chairs legs, with its armrest and foot, are already put together.
All you have to do is attach the back and the seat to the legs. The screws to do this are included in the hardware that you receive.
The hardware used to attach the chairs to your floor or base, however are not included. You must obtain them locally.
Assembly and installation:
Since the Crown Jewel Rocker new theater seating is a real movie theater seat, it is designed to be assembled quickly and easy. (Multiplexes have thousands of seats, and the theater seating installers must install those theater seats quickly so that the theaters do not have a lengthy down time.)
The theater chairs feet bolt to the floor or riser decking, floor mounting hardware must be obtained by you, locally. To assemble the back and seat assemblies to the legs, only 4 nuts per theater chair are needed. This hardware is provided with each new theater chair. The nuts can be found hand tightened onto the rocker mechanisms threaded posts. They come this way from the factory, so as to prevent them from being lost.

Showing type of floor. Thickness of floor. Aisle widths.
2 common mistakes architects make: 1. Chair width dimension is provided as center to center (center of leg / armrest to center to leg / armrest). Sometimes architects do not hake into consideration the additional 6-8 inches that need to be added to each row length, to take into account ´the other half of the armrest’.
2. The architect forgets to take into consideration wall treatments, railings, and or sound deadening boards, when determining the legally allowed minimum aisle width.
