Liberty Rocker & Jubilee Rocker Theater Seating Assembly and Installation

The Liberty Rocker chairs that we sell are:
40 1/2" tall
23 9/16" wide measured center-to-center.
Here are some guidelines. (Celebrity Seating Inc. does not accept any responsibility or liability for incorrectly installed chairs.)
The first step in installing your chairs, is to mount the legs to your floor. You will notice a metal footplate at the bottom of the chairs leg, the footplate has 2 holes in it.
For the Liberty Rocker separate the legs 23 9/16" apart, measuring from the CENTER of one footplate over to the CENTER of the next footplate.
Measure the 23 9/16" center-to-center at the front and then take your tape measure and measure the back. Trying to prevent any pigeon toeing, or duck footing. The foot plates need to be perfectly parallel to each other.
Screws or anchors for attaching the legs to the floor ,you are to purchase locally. Floor hardware is not included.
When your chairs are delivered, look for the box that has "small parts" or "hardware" written on the outside of the box.
After all the legs are screwed down to the floor (recommend just finger tightening them at first, and then fully tighten them at the very end of the installation) then the back assembly goes on.
After the back assembly goes on, then put on the seat bottom assembly on.
Last would be the end panels, and affixing the bottom of the center cushions (the narrow cushions located between the seat bottoms).
The center cushion should be attached already at the top, but the bottom of the center cushion needs to be screwed in. Look for the 2 machine screws for this. Note there is a small sheet metal plate that has 2 threaded holes in it, that the screws go into. However it may not be so apparent how to get the screw through the material at the bottom of the center cushion. Believe it or not if you push and work the screw, back and forth, side to side, the screw will get through the fabric and then you can screw the screw into the sheet metal plate. The screw heads stay exposed.
The end panels screw on, the screws are provided for this. The end panels have upholstered inserts that snap on with plastic 'Christmas Tree" connectors.

Please read all of these instructions, before starting to assemble your chairs.
The best foolproof way of making sure that the chairs will fit in your seating area is to wait until you receive the chairs, and then assemble one of the chairs, mount it onto a temporary plywood base, and use that chair to make your measurements.
However we realize this is not always very practical, especially if you want to build risers before your chairs arrive.

To determine the overall width of a row of chairs:
Liberty Rocker. 23.5625-inches wide center-to-center.
First you multiply the number of chairs times the center-to-center width.
So, for example to determine the overall width of a row of 3 Liberty Rockers.... 3 chairs at 23.5625-inches center-to center would equal 70.6875-inches.
That's fine, but that is not the total OVERALL width.
Second, you have to add the "other half" of the armrests, at each end of the row. This is 2.5-inches for 1/2 of an armrest.
So, 2.5-inches X 2 = 5-inches. So in our example, 3 chairs X 23.5625-inches = 70.6875-inches + 5-inches = 75.6875-inches total overall width for a row of 3 Liberty Rockers.
Liberty Rocker :
Center-to-center: 23.5625 (23 9/16")
1/2 and armrest = 2.5-inches / 6cm. (Whole armrest is 5-inches wide)

Row of 2 Liberty Rocker chairs overall width: 52 1/8" (52.125")

A row of 3 Jubilee Rocker chairs is 71.75" (71 3/4") wide overall.
A row of 4 Jubilee Rocker chairs is 94" (94") wide overall.
A row of 5 Jubilee Rocker chairs is 116.25" (116 1/4") wide overall.
A row of 6 Jubilee Rocker chairs is 138.50" (138 1/2") wide overall.
